Where We Work
Industries We Serve
IPM's cross-industry experience means your requirements, whether they involve material traceability, exotic alloys, or extreme dimensional tolerances, are already familiar to our team.
Oil & Gas
Downhole Components & High-Pressure Fittings
The oil and gas industry demands components that perform without failure in high-pressure, high-temperature, and corrosive environments. IPM machines valve bodies, manifold blocks, downhole tool components, and precision fittings to tight tolerances in stainless steel, alloy steel, and exotic nickel alloys.
We understand the documentation requirements of the energy supply chain, material certifications, first article inspection reports, and full dimensional callouts are standard deliverables on oil and gas programs.
From one-off prototype valves to low-volume production runs of downhole connectors, IPM has the equipment and experience to meet API and customer-specific requirements.
- Valve bodies and seats
- Manifold blocks and flow control components
- Downhole tool housings and mandrels
- High-pressure fittings and adapters
- Stainless, alloy steel, Inconel, and specialty alloys
Aerospace
Precision Components for Flight-Critical Applications
Aerospace machining requires a combination of tight tolerances, traceability, and the ability to work with difficult materials like titanium, Inconel, and high-strength aluminum alloys. IPM's CNC machining centers and skilled operators routinely produce structural brackets, housings, fittings, and prototype components for aerospace customers including Axiom Space, NASA contractors, and Arrow Aviation.
We are actively pursuing AS 9100 Rev D certification to formalize our aerospace quality system. Current customers receive first article inspection documentation and full material traceability as standard.
IPM is SAM-registered and experienced in federal sub-contracting requirements, making us a capable partner for defense and government aerospace programs.
- Structural brackets and frames
- Housings, enclosures, and mounts
- Prototype and pre-production components
- Titanium, aluminum 7075/6061, Inconel, and CRES
- First article inspection and material certs
Medical
Compliant Materials, Surgical Precision
Medical device manufacturing requires strict material compliance, traceability, and dimensional accuracy that leaves no room for interpretation. IPM machines components in medical-grade stainless steel (316L, 17-4 PH), titanium alloys (Ti-6Al-4V), and PEEK, maintaining complete material traceability throughout production.
We produce surgical instrument components, implant tooling, device housings, and prototype hardware for early-stage medical device development. Our pursuit of ISO 13485 certification reflects our commitment to formalizing a quality system that meets medical industry requirements.
- Surgical instrument components and tooling
- Implant and device prototype hardware
- Medical-grade stainless, titanium, and PEEK
- Full material traceability and certifications
- Prototype through low-volume production
Electronics
Enclosures, Heat Sinks & Precision Hardware
Electronics applications demand tight tolerances on machined enclosures, heat sinks, brackets, and structural hardware, often in aluminum for weight and thermal performance. IPM machines a wide variety of electronics components for customers developing industrial controls, RF systems, power electronics, and ruggedized computing platforms.
We work from customer CAD and drawings to produce first-article prototypes and transition designs into short-run production. Surface finish requirements, thread specs, and secondary operations like anodizing are coordinated as part of our service.
- Enclosures and chassis components
- Heat sinks and thermal management parts
- Brackets, standoffs, and structural hardware
- Aluminum 6061, 7075, copper, and brass
- Anodizing and surface finishing coordination
Automotive
Prototype Parts & Low-Volume Production
Automotive development programs require fast-turn prototype components to validate designs before tooling investment, and IPM's machining capabilities are well-suited to bridging that gap. We produce functional prototype parts, powertrain components, suspension hardware, custom fixtures, and low-volume production components for specialty vehicles and performance applications.
Our welding and fabrication team also supports automotive customers with custom brackets, roll cage components, and structural fabrication that requires both precision and weld quality.
- Functional prototype machined components
- Powertrain and suspension hardware
- Custom fixtures and jigs
- Welded brackets and structural fabrication
- Low-volume production for specialty applications
Consumer Products
Prototyping & Short-Run Production
Consumer product development moves fast. IPM supports product companies during the critical phases between concept and mass production, machining functional prototypes for testing and investor demos, producing pre-production tooling, and running short-quantity production orders while the product ramps up.
We bring DFM knowledge to the table early, helping product teams identify features that are difficult or expensive to machine and suggesting modifications that preserve function while reducing cost and lead time.
- Functional prototypes for testing and demos
- Pre-production and bridge tooling
- Short-run machined production components
- Design for Manufacturability consulting
- Aluminum, steel, brass, and engineering plastics
